Buckeyes get ready to play in Sugar Bowl this week

The Ohio State Buckeyes arrived in New Orleans, LA on Saturday the 27th to prepare for the game against Alabama January 1st. The 72,500 seat Mercedes-Benz Superdome is sold out.

The Buckeyes started working out on Friday after taking a few days off for the holidays. They chartered a plane down to New Orleans. After they arrived they had a team meeting and dinner.

Sunday they practiced at the Superdome then went by bus to Tulane University to lift. A press event followed.

Monday morning they had a two-hour practice session. They practiced as if it was a typical Wednesday. Media were welcomed to the practice session.

Today, Tuesday, is media day for both teams at the Superdome. The team will practice from 11:45-2:00 pm and then at 4:00 pm some of the players will visit pediatric patients at the Oschner Hospital.
