Jody Victor : OSU Football Practice Started Monday

Jody Victor: Ohio State football practice began its sixth season under the direction of head coach Jim Tressel on Monday, Aug 7. The team reported to camp Sunday, Aug. 6.

Ohio State was the media pick as the preseason favorite ot win the 2006 Big Tem Championship last week in Chicago. A championship would mark the third title in five years for Tressel's Buckeyes. The preseason acclaim is just another bit of notoriety for a team some have picked to challenge for the national championship.

Helping to lead the team this year is a group of 19 seniors, including 16 who are in their fifth year as Buckeyes. A majority of the class was on the roster for the 2002 national championship season, has been a part of two Big Ten championship teams, and has won three BCS games

I just want to tip my hat to Shawn and Jeff from the Audio-Corner in Canton, Ohio for the outstanding job they did setting up the 110″ HD projection TV in our home theatre. Besides the nearly lifesize screen, the sound system makes you feel you are on the field, sometimes I think I can smell the grass (or turf). Thanks Guys!

Go Bucks!
